how to program learned codes

Post by trojanmon »

Hi,
I am trying to port my programming from my old 1994 to a new 2117. My marantz receiver doesn't seem to have any codes to switch the input settings and I had to learn them on my 1994. With the extender3 on my 2117, it says it doesn't support learning (although it seems to work if I program via the remote), is there a way I can take the codes that where learned on my 1994 and decoded via IR and program them on the 2117?

TIA.

I would look in the File Section on this site for an existing upgrade for your receiver. If there is one, it will likely have the input select functions listed. If not, you can create your own upgrade using RemoteMaster or KeyMaster.

If you were able to learn the buttons, IR should report what protocol and codes they use. You can then use this info to add the functions either as keymoves or as part of an upgrade.
