Hey everyone,


Recently bought this remote...It has pads and it is indicated as JP1 on the board...Thre seems to be no RDF, but I am thinking the 9960 should work..Any thoughts?

Just want to check before taking it apart and soldering on a 6pin...

It looks like the URC-9966 is the Canadian version of the URC-9964, which in turn is the RF version of the URC-9960. From a JP1 point of view, these are all the same remote, so when you download from it using IR.exe, it will automatically select the URC-9960 RDF.

Soldered on a 6 pin today and was able to program! Comes up as the 9960 4mg epprom!
