Coolsat4000+ Remote

Post by catpishy »

I usally record programs on vhs recorder. sometimes I forget to leave Coolsat volume to the max and guess what I hardly can hear anything when playing back the vhs recording.
Now I was hoping to disable the volume on Coolsat at max vol. and use other remote to raise/lower only TV vol. not the Coolsat volume.
Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

I understand you want to have some remote in the mode where it controls channels and other features of the Coolsat, while it controls the volume of the TV. That feature of a remote is usually called "volume punch through" or "volume lock". Most universal remotes and most cbl/sat remotes have that feature. But they have different ways of programming it.

I didn't understand from your post WHICH remote you want to do that with. If it is one of the remotes discussed in this forum, I'm sure someone here can tell you how to program VPT.
