OT: George Bush visits Queen Elizabeth (humour)

Post by The Robman »

On a recent trip to the UK, "W" asked Lizzie how she managed to run her country so smoothly as he was having one hell of a time trying to keep things together back home.

QE2: "I surround myself with good people"
GB: "Yeah, but how do you KNOW they're good people?"
QE2: "Watch this" (into the intercom) "send in Tony Blair".
TB: "Yes, maam?"
QE2: "Tony, your parents have a child, it's not your sister and it's not your brother, who is it?"
TB: "Simple maam, it's me, maam"
QE2: "Thank you Tony, you may go"

GB said he liked it and would try it out at home, so on his return to the White House he summoned Karl Rove.

GB: "Karl, your parents have a child, it's not your sister and it's not your brother, who is it?"
KR: "That's a very good question Mr. President, and we don't want to leave any child behind. Could I get back to you on this?"
GB: "By the end of the day, Rove!"

Karl quickly gathers a meeting of all of his staff, but none of them know the answer, then he spots Colin Powell in the corridor and he runs the riddle by him.

CP: "Simple, it's me".
KR: "Thank you Colin, you've just saved my job!"

Karl runs into the Oval office ...

KR: "Mr. President, I have the answer to the riddle!"
GB: "OK Karl, what is it"
KR: "It's Colin Powell!" :D :D :D

GB: "You idiot, that's the wrong answer! It's Tony Blair!!!" 8)

Too bad Colin Powell was too smart to run for President.

If that was the speech that I remember, he looked embarassed to be in the building or like someone was holding a hostage and he was being forced to be there.
