you may want to add to the thread once you have set up a Paypal account, just to let others know who may find this thread. As far as I know, you can make a Paypal account from anywhere, but only link it to bank accounts in the countries defined. If instead you link it to a credit card (Visa Mastercard etc) it can be from anywhere.
