Any way to take a JP1 file and turn it into a CCF?

Post by Fast351 »

OK, I "learned" all the codes from my DViCO Fusion remote, and translated them into a KM spreadsheet file. (see HT Systems file section). I would like to take this file and convert it to a CCF format file so I can use it with another branded IR sensor in my HTPC system. Any good utility to do this?

BTW, is the HT systems the correct place for HTPC remotes?

Thanks!

To make a CCF from that information, you need to use MakeHex.exe and IrPanels.exe

That process creates a CCF with buttons labeled only with OBC numbers. There is no program that copies the function names from the JP1 upgrade to the CCF. If you want the functions properly named in the CCF (as I expect you would), you need to edit the CCF with ProntoEdit while looking at the functions sheet in KM, and find each OBC numbered button in the CCF and rename it.

If you still want to make a CCF, despite that inconvenience, there are instructions for MakeHex with IrPanels in many threads at RemoteCentral.

Also see the readme file packaged with MakeHex at:
