Typical errors:

(1) Using PL instead of JU or vice versa;
(2) Not saving the BIN file in the correct folder;
(3) Not modifyiyng the sbav.cfg file properly.
(4) Not using grammar, punctuation or complete sentences, making difficult to understand a question; Twisted Evil Wink

Upload all of the relevant files (Source file you started from, your modified RM file, your generated BIN file, and your sbav.cfg file), and someone will have a look.

What version Slingbox do you have (and how have you confirmed this)?
What is a "nest level vdsl box" Embarassed ?

If you are talking about the expressVu you may find that a build in code may operate it.

Have you try any of the codes that operate like sat 0775. Such as code for expressVu, hts, or jvc sat codes. With the sling being pretty new it may have version 3 of dish network protocol (which is a combo) in it and it seems that is what expressVu runs.

the ir blaster in the info section of the player said it was blaster version 2

i have the "beta" firmware 1.0.58

downloaded the rm and found the code for my box in the files section of jp1 "next level rg2200" which is the device i have

I used pl in the rm and the exported the output to the

Look at the top of this page, there are a bunch of navigation icons. Go to the "File Section". Once there, go to the "Diagnosis area". Once there, there is an "upload" button at the top of the page. Click it and it walks you through uploading a file.

THEN post links to your uploaded files back here, so we can find them. (those instructions appear when you are composing a post, when you scroll the cursor over the URL tag above the text panel.)

You didnt do it. Manual settings is what the upgrade file is from the original txt file you started with.

Do you happen to have an ofa remote to test a thought with?
It dont need to be jp1.

Why do you think there's something wrong with the bin file RM exported?

I think the problem is more likely to lie here:
Quote:
the ir blaster in the info section of the player said it was blaster version 2

i have the "beta" firmware 1.0.58

downloaded the rm and found the code for my box in the files section of jp1 "next level rg2200" which is the device i have

I used pl in the rm ...

Is the blaster version 2.0 or 2.1?
If it is 2.0 (which I think it is), you should be using JU.
If it is 2.1 you should be using PL.

Also, did you read this post I suggested? It says
The Robman wrote:
UPDATE: According to this post, there is a problem with the beta Slingbox software with regards to creating your own upgrades. So if you are having problems and you are using the beta software, that's probably what the problem is.
