I have been hoping to find discrete on/off for my satellite receiver (DSR 500).

I saw this thread and tried the 1362 upgrade which worked the unit. (It also works with 0869). However using 1362 the discrete on and off in the thread above do not work (for me).

I posted this to see if anyone else had any success with the DSR 500, or to save others time and effort if there are no discretes for that device!

I use a 15-1994. I am trying to move closer towards a WFV using discretes. As our only on/off problems come from the device not reacting (due to waving the remote around when operating it) I don't think a toadtog will really help. The DSR 500 is the only device I have in regular use that has no discrete. My alternative is therefore just to retry "Master On" (or off) until they create the right effect!
