URC-9910B00 ir.exe "no definition file exist"

Post by pettinej »

I have just connected my URC-9910B00 to ir.exe (6.15) and I am getting a error "no definition file exit..." when I try to read the remote.

I am not sure what to do next. Help!

Do you need to preserve the programming that's already in the remote? If not, do a full MFR RESET (details below) and then try downloading

I did the master reset and I still get the same error. Any other ideas?

Did you download the RDFs already and have you pointed IR.exe to the directory where they reside? If you've done all that, let IR download the data without an RDF and then post the file in the Diagnosis Area for us to look at. And please post a link to the file here when you're done so we don't have to go searching for it.
