I've crossed the first small hurdle with an upgrade for my Channel Master Antenna rotator built and successfully loaded- my thanks go to the geniuses that developed the JP1 system!
Now I would like to load a different command to the "Scan" key of my 15-2117 (this key wont accept "learned" commands). Can someone point me to a way to learn how to accomplish this? Thanks..... _________________ .......John |

Does your upgrade use a protocol upgrade? If so, the protocol can be modified to allow you to put something on the SCAN key. All "hacked" protocols supported by KM have this feature built in.
If you're not using a protocol upgrade, there is a special protocol that let's you put functions on the SCAN button. Check the Special Protocols folder at Yahoo.

Im not using a protocol upgrade.
Can you tell me what specific file this special protocol is in - there are a bunch of them in the Special protocols section and none of them are labeled with this task.
Thanks for your help. _________________ .......John |
