NAD 3400 Amplifier code

A friend of mine has a NAD 3400 amplifier and he has lost the remote. Anyone know if hte 15-1994 supports NAD products, or if there is an upgrade for this amplifier?

There are two NAD device upgrades in the audio folder at yahoo.jp1, but neither are for your model number. However, the upgrades may still work, or at least get you started in writing your own upgrade.

Get a JP1 cable if you do not already have one. It is the most fun you will ever have for under $20! (not counting those trips to Bangkok

)

If neither of those work for his amplifier, check the Pronto files section at Remotecentral. If you find one that is for your friends specific model, and you need further help, post the url for that file here and someone will help.

The 15-1994 doesn't have codes for NAD receivers/amps, but it is likely that you'll be able to control your equipment using the NAD device codes which can be uploaded with a JP1 cable (This worked for me).

If this fails, visit the NAD website, and dowload the pronto codes for your equipment from there (or email NAD if you are unsure, they'll help you)
