Thank to all, guys,
I'll try out all these pause protocols.

What to about "Why do you need to know?" - because I'm a programmes in the past,
I want to understand, how all the stuff works. Also, may be I can to enhance some code for all users (al least for my URC-8040).
For example, I don't use any extender (because of losing the learning feature), so I need to implement standalone pause and LDKP protocols by myself.

If the extender exists for your remote, losing the learning feature shouldn't stop you from the joy of using one. Save your extended configuration. Revert back to the unextended mode. Use the remote for learning. Then when you no longer need learning, just reload the previous (extended) file :) But don't let this advice stop you from making a standalone L/DKP :)
