Just curious : URC-9911(9910) Home Theater button

Post by Bebert2 »

Hi!

Just out of curiosity... What is everyone using the Home Theater device button for? With JP1, do you still use it the way it was intended to in the first place?

I don't use the HT button. Using extender 1, I programmed macros on the device buttons that switches inputs, volume and channel controls. Also, L1 turns everything on and L2 turns everything off.

Ttyl! :)

I use it as the shift key because the P key on the 15-2104 is so hard to press.

I've been using HT for shift and x-shift. Never used it for HT setup (not comfy with the concept). The Setup button annoyed everybody, can't press it easily.

I, too, have separate keys to power up any system (M1, M2 in 8910/HTpro and 7800). It's simpler/cleaner for me to keep device selections and audio and video inputs in synch without dragging the power issue in.
