Hi, I would appreciate some guidance with creating a device upgrade for a Daewoo DS700 DTT box (UK) - One-For-All had nothing available.
NB: I believe the DS700 is identical to the Bush DFTA3.

I used a URC7562 to learn all the codes which I downloaded using IR.exe V.6. But, each Daewoo key seems to generate three codes in the following format, this example is for the POWER key:

# Protocol Device Sub-Device OBC Hex EFC
1 Nokia 13 80 8 08 082 <Common
2 Nokia 53 64 32 20 019
3 Nokia 80 8 12 0C 050

The first line appears to be common and does not change, line two varies and line three is unique for each button.

Has IR.exe interpreted the protocol correctly and, if so, how do I incorporate this format in Key-Master ?

You should get the latest DecodeIr.dll from
http://john.fine.home.comcast.net/ir/Decode_IR_DLL.zip
and see if it does a better job of decoding.

If not, save a .ir file with several learned signals from that device and upload it to the diagnosis area

I think you have a longer Nokia protocol that an older version of DecodeIr misdecodes as three instances of the more common Nokia protocol.

Thanks Johnsfine.

I re-learned a couple of commands and with the new dll these have the NEC1 protocol.
I'll now re-learn the whole remote.

Cheers

The change to a new version of the dll did NOT change Nokia decodes to NEC1, nor could a learning error change between NEC1 and Nokia.

So the signals you learned and decoded the first time were not the same signals you learned and decoded the next time.

If you really think they all came from the same Daewoo remote, then mabe in has internal modes to switch between different code sets.

Hi all,

I have a similar problem as described above.
I'm trying to learn signals from the remote of my pioneer DCS-313 home cinema system.
I've tried the latest DLL but still, some signals (not all) show up in IR as multiple codes. In case a signal is shown as multiple codes, the first code is always the same:

Code:
#   Protocol           Device   OBC   Hex   EFC   Misc
=   =====              ====     ===   ===   ===   ====
1   Pioneer            166      161   7A    225
2   Pioneer            175      188   C2    028
3   Gap-544-1601-15?   38       179               A6.59

I'd really appreciate it if someone could have a look at this. I would like to upload an ir file but for some reason there is no upload button anywhere in the files area.

Kind regards,
Peter

@Peter:

Your decode shows a learn of the pioneer mix protocol. Look at this KM sample.

Thanks Uwe!

I'm at work right now.
I'll investigate this as soon as I get home.

Are you looking in the file section on this forum?
If yes, see the tail end of this thread

I finally found some time to play with my remote again.
Thanks again for the info Uwe. I've got it working now.

ElizabethD, I was indeed looking in the wrong place (yahoo).
Anyway, no need to upload anything anymore Smile

I've just bought a DFTA3 DTT UK Freeview reciever (same as Daewoo DS700T). I've learned the commands with IR6.15 and decoder dll 2.26 and I'm geeting the Nokia 32 protocol device 13, sub-device 80. If this is correct how can I program either Keymaster or Remote master as they don't support Nokia 32? Or is it incorrectly decoding the learned signals and they should be NEC1 as Eng_Exe has found?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Dsarens,

I am also having the same problem as you for a Matsui Freeview Digital Adapter.

The learned commands are showing a Protocol of Nokia 32, Device No. 13 and Sub-device No. 80. This protocol doesn't seem to exist on Keymap Master or Remote Master.

I received a reply from Johnsfine in the General Forum that he thought one had been created a while back but didn't have the time to look for this. I am still trying to find this and will let you know if I do.
