Discrete Video 7 Input for Sony HDTV
I was able to combine video 7 in this KM file... http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=1926 I just added device2 = 151 and then input the EFC for video 7. (Have to change Byte 2 to equal 1 for the EFC) Also here is a pretty good site that has Sony codes. http://www.hifi-remote.com/sony/

That will certainly work, but be aware that you will lose any functions that come from the 164 device codejs2045 wrote:I was able to combine video 7 in this KM file... http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=1926 I just added device2 = 151 and then input the EFC for video 7. If you want to be able to include all of the functions into one upgrade, you should use the Sony combo protocol.

Video 8
For anyone actually searching down through here:
According to the sony list http://www.hifi-remote.com/sony/Sony_tv.htm, Video 8 discrete is Device code 119, CC# 101, which is likely EFC 255. Haven't tried it, though. Why they have this on yet another device code, I have no idea -- it's not like 151 is full.
