I have a 6131M and cable, communication is up, found a 6412 Keymap file and am very optimistic about this weekend.
I have another retail 6131. The remote table on filebug.jp1.com
http://jp1.filebug.com/remchart.htm
lists pads under the holes. Does this mean the male pin adapter that came with Rob's cable will let me program the retail also?
I could just shove the pins in the holes and try it, of course, but my mother was VERY clear about the dangers of hairpins and outlets, so..... |

Thank you sir. Superb response. "Pads in the EEPROM column apparently means pads to which you solder a BYO chip.
Rob, you provide a great service to the amateur electrical engineer in all of us. |
