Pads?

Pads?

I have a 6131M and cable, communication is up, found a 6412 Keymap file and am very optimistic about this weekend.

I have another retail 6131. The remote table on filebug.jp1.com

http://jp1.filebug.com/remchart.htm

lists pads under the holes. Does this mean the male pin adapter that came with Rob's cable will let me program the retail also?

I could just shove the pins in the holes and try it, of course, but my mother was VERY clear about the dangers of hairpins and outlets, so.....

Thank you sir. Superb response. "Pads in the EEPROM column apparently means pads to which you solder a BYO chip.

Rob, you provide a great service to the amateur electrical engineer in all of us.
