Have New TV. Should I just add it, or remove old one first?

Post by MPSAN »

Well, I had my 15-2117's working fine. But, I now have a new TV. Should I just add it, or should I remove the old one first. I do not want to harm the ReplayTV functions at all. I just want to remove the Toshiba TV and now use the Hitachi.

Do I just remove the device in IE?

TIA

While you don't have to remove the device (as long as you used different setup codes for the two devices), it's probably a good idea. You might run out of upgrade memory at some point.

That is what I thought. Does IE have a place to just remove the device?

Do you mean IR? If so, just select the device (in the Devices tab) and click the delete button (at the bottom)

What a silly error. IR works much better than IE!!!! Can you imagine an MS version of JP1?
