Which Kameleon 8, URC 9960 or RS 15-2138?

Hello-

I'm need to replace my 15-2116 (my house rabbits have nibbled on a bunch of the keys), and am trying to decide between the URC 9960 and the 15-2138. I strongly prefer the key layout of the 15-2138 over the URC 9960 but, I have a couple of questions that I am hoping someone here can help me with:

1) Can you assign macros to the device keys on both the 15-2138 and URC 9960? I've done this on my 15-2116, and this is a necessity in my household.

2) From the forums I have seen that there are newer revisions of the URC 9960 out there which don't seem to be all that JP1 friendly at the moment. Would I be able to even find one of the older URC 9960's out there?
