does any one know if there is another code besides the 0000 on the manual. cannot get the one for all remote to operate.
have also try running search on forum. and checking out the wav files.
have also try using the manual search with no luck. its kinda late here so i cannot call in to upgrade it at the moment. :( also try to use 0185,0490,0604,0605,0727 any help would be much appreciated.

You've posted this in one of the JP1 forums (rather than the non-JP1 forum) so we will usually assume that you are a JP1 user. However, reading between the lines of your post, it doesn't sound like you are a JP1 user. (By "JP1 user", I mean that you have a JP1 cable).

We would need to know this before advising you further because if you have a cable, the solution is simple, but if you don't, it's more complicated.

You also need to mention whether you still have the original remote.

aww crap! sorry about posting this in the wrong place.
and yeah you are correct. i do not have the jp1 cable. i was thinking of making one my self. but knowing me i would probably mess it up.
once again i am sorry for posting in the wrong place.
and no :( i do not have the original remote. bought it from a Friend with out the remote.

Ohhh My God. i am a dumb a!@. :eek: after searching forums left and right. i stumble upon this thread http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... light=8910
i did not know that you also need to make sure that the command mode on the CD changer is set to 1 in the back of the unit in order for it to get the 0000 code from the urc-8910 remote. i know I'm dumb. hope this helps any one that also has this issue. again i am also sorry for posting in the JP1 section.
