Hello again
I have a Kameleon URC 9960. It has menu selection via the Scroll function. Unfortunately, often enough, I have to start something on, say TV push a button, push Scroll, push another button.
Is there a way of 'locking' a particular menu to, say TV? I mean all the buttons are there anyway, so why go [TV] [Scroll] [Scroll] to get to the PIP menu?
Presumably I could use a macro to do this, but there has to be a better way.

If I understand your question correctly you are asking if there is a way to have all say TV buttons showing at once and the answer is no since the screens are controlled at the hardware level and can't be changed.
If you want a default screen of your choice to show when when you enter TV mode the answer is that it can not be done with macros. Actually, thats not a true statement since you can put scroll in a macro just not on the device button.
Your best option is to go with the 9960 extender since you can put any kind of macro on the device buttons. You can also do all sorts of button simulations like if you are in TV and you press the menu button you can make the screen with the arrow buttons on it come up. Read the docs in the extender zip file and see what it can do for you.
The only question I have is what model of the 9960 do you have since the extender does not work on all 9960's

Yes, its the default menu selection
I guess I'll have to try figure out all about extenders, then
Thanks
