Hmm. When you say Quote:
pressing and holding the set button
is that one long press or a short press and then a long press? I think it should be one long press.

Don't think of it as a bashing, think of it as a friendly reminder of how best to help us help you. The template was developed as the result of all the endless questions we need to keep asking people to fill in the blanks in their original posts. In your case, you mentioned that you have a learning remote but didn't state why you couldn't do the learning yourself, but when you used the template you were forced to state whether you still have the original remotes, so you mentioned that they were broken.

When people have working original remotes and a learning remote and are just asking for codes because they're too lazy to learn from them, we don't bother helping them.

I've tried to make the sticky post as clear as I possibly can, yet still people feel that it's OK to post code requests without using the template, so my SOP now is to lock those threads.
