All,
I'm having a small annoyance with my RCU810 and I'm hopeing someone can help me out. When I open IR and try to download from my remote, I get the "No Data Signature" error box. If I click no, I get the window with the list of signatures and then I choose the one for the RCU810. When I do this, everything downloads fine. Once I've made my changes, I then go to do an upload. Once again, I get the "No Data Signature" error box. If I click no, it goes about it's merry way programming the remote. I've tried doing a MFG RESET on it and when I do this, I don't get the error going up the first time, but get it downloading, and then it's back to the error message both ways. Most importantly the remote is working right now and I can program it, but I'd like to get around this annoyance so that I don't have to say no everytime and click on the signature file for each download. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you're doing an MFR RESET, not an OPS RESET? Check the sticky thread in this forum to be sure.
Once you've reset the remote, try doing a download, and if it works, try doing an upload without changing anything.

Defintely doing a MFG RESET (many thanks to your sticky BTW, since I could only get the OPS RESET before that). I'll try a download then upload tongiht and see what happens. Like I said it's not a major problem, just more of an annoyance to have to select the signature everytime.
To summarize what you're suggesting:
1. Do a MFG RESET on the remote
2. Go into IR and downlaod that setup
3. Turn right back around and try to upload it?
Thanks.

That's what I'm saying.
Also, are you using IR.exe version 6.00?

Rob,
Thanks for the help. I tried what you said and it downloaded fine, and uploaded fine as well. When I opened my .IR file and tried to upload it, I got the signature error. Since it only took about 5 minutes to do, I MFG RESET the remote again and used that as the basis and reimport my KM upgrades/protocols and saved a new .IR file. With this file I can do all uploads and wonloads without signature errors. I'm assuming something was screwy with the original .IR file, so I'll just use the new one. Thanks again for your help with this.

If you post the original IR file, maybe one of us can take a look at it.
