Topline/OFA 5 = ntl/pace + Pacific dvd-1002w UK

Post by geekkid »

Hi.

Topline/OneForAll 5 tried ALL OFA website modem downloads and codes in manual for these ntl/pace digital cable box UK and a Pacific (Asda brand) dvd-1002w (UK hardware). And all I get is couple of +- channel buttons up down working and vol up.

I require the following keys to work as pointless using OFA just for +- channel changing.

ntl/pace digital cablebox remote control UK

power, help, favourites, settings, on demand, interactive, guide, page u/d,
back, tv, mute, menu/text, browse/i, vol+, vol-, channel+, channel-, ok-select, red, green, yellow, blue, and numerical keys working.

pacific dvd-1002w (Asda brand) remote control UK

standby on/off, clear, digest, dvd menu, audio mode, zoom, title menu, subtitle menu, audio menu, pbc, 3d, angle, display, setup, return, bookmark, search, enter, program, slow/r, slow/f, pause/step, and the <<, >>, <,>, random, and numerical keys working.

Is the above possible with JP1 programming or waste of time?

Re Pacific,

If I can find the file I have it working on the URC7562 and am trying to alter it for the Topline.

Its made by Schneider, but the codes you can download do not operate it.

Will keep you informed

<EDIT>

I have uploaded the KM file that works on my 7562 to the JP1 files area
(Files - Device Codes - DVDs - Pacific2001.txt)

Yep I know the numper should be 1002, but I typed it wrong

Some of the button names you mention are not on my remote, but mine is the 2001 Mk2, so it may be different. and you can change the spreadsheet to work with topline

Hope this helps
