OK, so I figured out that for the model of Hauppauge IR receiver I have (the one that comes with the WinTV Radio), the remote code is TV 0054, which is a Phillips code. My remote had random keys assigned to various functions, and it mapped them all around the place. After spending some time with the keymover, everything is in the right place. The problem I have having is there is ONE BUTTON MISSING.
The WinTV remote is very small, with a fairly small number of buttons. The program I am using (MythTV with lirc) requires quite a few buttons, so every one counts. The button that is on the Hauppauge remote is "RESERVED", and when I run the program "irw" which outputs what the receiver got, it says
0000000000000101e RESERVED Hauppauge
From what I can tell, 0x101e is an RC-5 code. What I need, is the three digit UEIC code for this key so that I can do the Set->994->Set->###->Button routine. Any ideas, anyone? What I need is RC-5 code 101e converted into a UEIC code.

It's EFC 238
Those three digit numbers you use in that sort of KeyMove (994 command) are called EFC numbers.
Any two of the samples you provided together with the fact that it's tv/0054 are enough to tell us the rightmost two digits are the OBC number in hex.
The KM spreadsheet or the RM program can be used for the rather tricky translation from OBC number to EFC number for RC5 protocol, so I converted 1e hex to 30 decimal, put that into KM as an OBC for RC5 and read out the EFC 238.
I'm also fairly sure I know what the 10 part of the 0x101e means, but it isn't relevent to the task as long as it's the same across the whole set of commands. |

If this is the black Hauppauge remote (fairly sure it is) it generates RC5 device 0 commands (the silver remotes are RC5 device 31 and the new 45 key one is RC5 device 30). The Hauppauge remotes were the reason I discovered JP1 and upgraded my 6131's.
You might run out of memory (without JP1 capability) but you can probably generate more valid commands with your 6131 by converting more OBC numbers to EFC's and mapping them to keys. This should be the original button OBC mapping.
0=0 (might be labeled differently)

12=RADIO
13=MUTE
15=TV
16=VOLUP
17=VOLDOWN
30=RESERVED
32=CHNLUP
33=CHNLDOWN

There are lots of valid commands that your 6131 can generate that the original remote couldn't. You might want to see if your software can use them.
