After emailing OFA to try to get codes to work with my Pioneer VSX-D514 Receiver, they sent me the codes: RCVR 1123, 1122. Unfortunately, neither of these are in my remote. 1023 is, however, and it works for about 1/2 of the functions of my receiver. Is there a list of advanced codes anywhere that I could enter for 1123 and have them work on my remote, or do I need to send it back (or buy a JP1) ? Thanks! |

I have not checked but I would almost be willing to bet there is a device upgrade for this receiver in the files section.
Basically you could locate one that looks right, download it and open it with either RM or KM and see the codes. You can then manually program them in the remote until you reach the limit of the remotes memory which is probably about 20 to 25 codes for ALL devices combined.
OR, you could get a jp1 cable and program the remote with IR and have a lot more flexibility in programming it the way you like with just 2 or 3 programs to learn. The assumption however is that it is one of the jp1 capable OFA remotes but you didn't mention which one it is. _________________ Nils
