I have a Panasonic TX-32PD30 television which requires a long power button press to turn the device on or off. I believe this is common for Panasonic TVs. I have a OFA 9960 remote and want to produce a macro to turn the TV on and switch the input to a SCART input. I have read Don Grovestine’s The WHAT and WHY of JP1 which mentions in the section on Device Combiner that duration can be coded into the second byte of the function assignment but he doesn’t say how. A complication is that I need to use the Panasonic MIX Combo Protocol as the TV requires multiple devices and sub-devices. Can anyone help with this?
