Help with this Protocol

Post by type0 »

I have an Xbox with a generic DVD remote that dose not use the RCA protocol. I have tried to do a learn IR to figure out the protocol but most of the times I get an error. The few times I didn’t this is what I got.

Also if there is a better way to dothis let me know..

I'd guess bad batteries or bad learning technique. Search the forum for learn, there has been a lot written on that subject recently. The commands are badly corrupted.

There is an upgrade for a generic knock-off Xbox remote in the file section, be sure to try that also.
