I'm looking in ldkp-1.3.zip and it seems that LKP/DKP is only available for certain remotes with certain extenders. Is there any way I can get this functionality on my URC-7800? I do have a 15-1994 so I suppose I could use that remote and one of its extenders to get LKP/DKP, but I much prefer my nice compact little 7800. |

As far as I can find there is no LKP version for the 7800 around anywhere. I don't have the source for the 7800 extender so I have no idea if it could be done.
Maybe someone else more familiar with the 7800 extender can help or atleast indicate if there is enough interest for someone to take the time do it. _________________ Nils

Thanks for your reply Nils. I too noticed the absence of the 7800 extender source from the zip file. I guess they didn't distribute the assembler source back in the good old days.
Anybody out there have it? Not sure if john or one of the other gurus was the author.
Anybody else even interested in updates for the 7800 extender? The old 15-1994 seems to still have a pretty good following. I can't imagine that I am the only one still using a 7800 |

I'm still using several 6800+ and 7800+ remotes!
My wife likes it better than any other ones we have.
Adding LKP would be nice if someone had the source for the extender. |

I have 2 URC-6800s and just ordered one URC-7800.
LKP would indeed be a great improvement in the extender, if it can be implemented.

Yep I use the 7800 as my main remote. Even as discontinued as it is, the size and signal strength makes it my vote for the best remote. I never remember seeing any source for the extender except the DSM.asm which puts the macros into the upgrade mem area. Have to agree LDKP would be a nice edition for one of the best remotes.

Quite a while ago I discovered that I have several versions of the source and several versions of the hex and they don't correspond to each other and it's not clear if any of them correspond to the released versions (Most of my urc 7800 extenders were never released). Sorting all that out so I can post a decent update to the 7800 extender has been on my "to do" list literally for years, but I can't seem to get to it. |

Johnsfine,
Did you ever get a chance to include LDKP for 7800 extender? I would be interested in that as well.
Is there any chance some of the existing protocols would work? Any of these from LDKP.txt?
URC-6012/8011/8811 with Extender 2/3
URC-6131 PVR remote with Extender 1
Thanks for your help,
-Chakra Srivatsa.

Sorry. I haven't looked at the 7800 extender in so long, I no longer have a clue. |
