FYI Niles remote JP1 compatible

Post by leecher »

I came along a remote that is just a variation of the replay Tv, from Nilesaudio, an installer show it to me and it has the JP1 plug in the back, I connected it and recognizes it as replay 1. It has 8 sources, did a search on the net and found it at onecall for $35.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting external links, just want to share the info I just found.

Here is some info on this remote. It took some searching so hopefully this saves someone some time.

Another one from Escient

Post by jpski »

Found one very similar from Escient (highend audio switcher). After I connected it to my laptop using JP1 I got an invalid Rdf file. It IDs it as a C80.... (don't remember the rest). Found an incomplete RDF on main yahoo site for a GATEWAY remote that seems to ID the same RDF. UNfortunately I have not had the opportunity to test the RDF to see if it works.
