Hi all.
I am trying to find descrete power on/off codes for 2 devices. I looked et the sticky's, the Yahoo files, and remote-central. But still i haven't found anything useful.
The first device is a HUMAX digital set top box for cable. I made the following update for it a while ago. It is using NEC1 protocol, with Device 0, subdevice 16.
The file: Humax-CX-1201C-Cable_Digibox.txt
Second device i am looking for the desretes, is a Toshiba VCR. I don't have the update file with me, but i'll check the protocol/device/subdev as i get home, and post them here.
Anyone can help me ?

I don't know about the Humax, but you're almost certainly out of luck with the Toshiba. Toshiba is the biggest TOAD of them all, they've only just started including discrete codes with their newest TVs, but I doubt they've done anything with VCRs, and if yours is more than a few years old, it definitely doesn't have discretes.

I found discrete ON and OFF at remotecentral for some HUMAX devices, but when i decode these (below) with IRTool, it gives me the same Device/code numbers for both actions.
Here are the HEX:

Jerma,
You need to have decodeIR.dll in the windows\system directory or have the modified version of IRTool in the same directory as IR.exe. Otherwise you go to the built in decoding in IRTool that is not very good.
When working correctly, you will get a little dialox box that pops up with the information Rob posted.

Thanks guys !
I got the IRTool working.
I tryed them on a different device (CD) by themselves making a new update, so i wouldn't mess up my cable config. Using NEC2 protocol, device 0, subdevice 48 and nothing happens.
So... at this time, there are no discretes for the HUMAX cable digibox.
