I have a One for All remote model 8810B. I also use a lot of X10 devices. How can I use the 8810 to control the devices and how do I set the channel for the 8810 to home channel F?
If I need a part, what part? I DO have a transciever
Can I "dim" and also control my cameras?
Thanks,
Bruce

The "tranceiver" that you have allows you to use RF to control your X10 devices. What you need is an IR543 box which will allow you to use IR to control them. You can get the IR543 for $20 from Home Automation Net. If by "home channel F" you are referring to the house codes, you set these on the IR543 box itself, not the remote.
To make your URC-8810 control the IR543, either use the built in HOME/0167 code or use the upgrade from the file section.

X10 set up for UCR 8810
What House code does the remote transmit on if I don't set up the remote for a house code? How do I control the number? Is there a "lesson guide" for how to use these remotes with X10? The manual is terrible in this regards!!
! How to I DIM? Is there a ALL ON? Is there an ALL OFF?
I am not green with X10, just with this remote and it's setup and use for X10...
Thanks

The house code is set at the IR543 box. The signal that the remote sends doesn't have any house codes built into it.
However, there is a hacked unit called IR543 "all house" where you can control the house code from the remote.
If you're a JP1 user and are loading an upgrade, you can decide which buttonshould be DIM. If you are using the normal HOME/0167 code to control the IR543, then VOL- = DIM, POWER = "All Lights On" and MUTE = "All Off"
