Panasonic SA-HE75 Tape Monitor code

Post by jprr »

This receiver's remote does not include the Tape Monitor feature.

Does anyone have any clue whether there is a code at all to turn this feature on/off ?

I have my equalizer connected to the Tape Mon, and want to remotely turn EQ on/off.

Advance thanks for any help in this regard...

I don't think the tape monitor function is remote-controllable. I did an exhaustive search of all EFCs for all four device codes for my SA-HE200K, and never saw the tape monitor toggle.
I used to have 5 remotes that controlled one thing each. Now I have 6 remotes that each control everything!

thanks for your response jetstar..

i got rid of the 75 and upgraded to the 200 that you have too...no regrets.

Surprising why Pan. would leave this feature out from the remote...like also not being able to access the setup menu via the remote !!

I actually bought this thinking - aah I can find an advanced code for it later - but u r not giving much hope :)

I found my original notes I used for building an upgrade code for the SA-HE200, and it turns out that there is a code that toggles the tape monitor function!

It's :

Protocol: Panasonic
Protocol ID: 00 C9
Fixed Data: FA BF FB FA FF

dev1 160
dev2 0

EFC: 095
I used to have 5 remotes that controlled one thing each. Now I have 6 remotes that each control everything!

mixing two protocols in one remote

Jetstar, thanks very much for your input, it worked. In fact I thought I
had posted a reply to you long back but apparently it didnt get posted...

One question: Before you gave me the code, I was using Panasonic Combo 2 with Protocol Id 00 cd with Fixed Data:bf fb fa

But your code changes all this.

How do I incorporate both protocol Ids into one remote ?

Advance thanks to anyone who replies.
