|

The Dish PVR508 has a double byte command. It appears the 6131 doesn't send both bytes at one key press. I have to press the key twice or press and hold a little in order for it to complete the command.
Any suggestions? |

As a note, I don't have this problem with the RS 15-2104 |

If you are using an extender, it is actually not a two-byte protocol. It has to do with the duration of the signal. It seems to like a minimum of two bursts for one command. If you are using the Dish Network Combo as the upgrade, then you can change the duration. I experimented with it and $03 (3 bursts) seems to work, but anything great takes longer between presses which is not good for keying in numbers. THe duration is found here in red. THe default is 06, but I tried 02-10 and 03 worked the best to get it to respond and still allows for quick keying without waiting for the remote to finish sending the signal more than 3 times.
