Just purchased two of these Radio Shack remotes on closeout for $14.90 each. Sadly, I can't get them up and running due to two primary reasons:

1.) A lack of codes for my LG LSS 3200A DTV HDTV Receiver, Harman Karon AVR 525, Denon DVD 2200 and

2.) More importantly a lack of memory for learning

If anyone could provide assistance I would be most grateful. This remote is especially well suited for me with it's hard buttons Isince unfortunately I have Parkinson's Disease.

Suggestions for other like remotes that me may be more up to date would also be appreciated.

If you get yourself a JP1 cable, there is almost no IR device the 15-2117 can't control.

More specifically there is already a device upgrade in the files for the LG3200A that has all commands on it including all discrete commands. I found a Pronto.ccf file for your exact DVD at remote central and it only takes me a few minutes to create a device upgrade.

There is an HK AVR-500 upgrade in the files, and since most HK commands are the same for all receiver's that will be close. If there are any missing commands, you learn those so we can add them to the device upgrade.

This is a very good mini tutorial on the JP1 process.

With the JP1 cable you don't need to rely on any learned commands. These device upgrades are very efficient.

I'm very much the novice at this sort of activity. Please direct me to the location listing codes for the LG LSS-3200A, Denon DVD 2600 and Harman Kardon AVR 525.

Is the JP1 best purchased or is it easily and quickly made?
