Is there anything special I have to do to my new 9910 to get it to download to IR? I'm using the same cable I made for my Cinema7 and it wont work. I re-verified that my Cinema7 still works and it does.

I can get the 9910 to show an LCD screen with the time so it looks like it's working.

Is the pinorder different on the 9910 than it is for the Cinema7?

Thanks!

Have you tried both with batteries in the remote and without?

Just wanted to post a follow up that might be useful to some people:

I am very happy with my 9910 because it allowed me to control my directivo unit from a distance through the RF base.

I had previously purchased an RF-infrared repeater (Radio Shack 15-1950) and it wasn't able to rebroadcast my tivo commands although it could rebroadcast other commands ok (like to my TV)

I didn't bother with the pyramid repeaters since I read reviews on remotecentral that said it too didn't work with directivo units.

I got the 9910 on ebay for 20bucks with shipping and added the device and protocol for tivo and it works great! The RF base also works flawlessly and it comes with an infrared dongle so you can hide the base.

2 thumbs up!
