Maybe just for Rob, but... RS 15-1934??

Maybe just for Rob, but... RS 15-1934??

Post by Jeff D »

This has a JP1 interface, but it doesn't want to talk to IR. I get "No Response from Remote" messages.

So... is there a trick to getting this puppy to work?

Thanks

No trick, this remote is simply a clone (of sorts) of the Producer 8 series of remotes. You could try doing a full MFR RESET on it to see if that helps (but you will lose all of your programming if you do this).

Check the manual on my site to see how to access to secret Service Menu, which is where you'll find the MFR RESET command.

Is a manufacturer's reset a common solution to first-time downloads? Is this a good idea for my 8910? I'm getting the same error message...
Yes Mike, but if the Laser Tag guns really worked on aliens, then we could just go after them all with our television remotes...

Give it a try, for the 8910 you need to press RECORD right after you bring up the on screen menu.
