Number buttons not working with device upgrade

Here is my situation. I have a 8810W remote and a Sony STRDE597 Receiver. Using JP1, and the STRDE895 upgrade, I am able to get many Receiver functions working on my remote. Here is my problem:

The number buttons on my remote (0-9) are not working for this Receiver. For example. Video 1 was assigned to the #1 button but would not work. In testing, I moved the Video 1 to the "arrow up button" and it worked fine. The number buttons are not working with this device. Is there a way I can get them working?

I found my own answer and will post it here in case anyone ever has the same problem...it turned out to be reeeaallly simple...

The Bound buttons were set to Shift-1, Shift-2 etc. When I unchecked the (Shift) box, they all worked fine!
