Hi,

I added the 6 JP1-pins to my URC-7040.
To U2 I soldered a 24C16-EEPROM.

Making a Magic-981 causes flashes: 2 times short and 1 time long.

Do I have to solder anything else?
Could it be that this is not the correct EEPROM?

Best regards

Susi

I seem to recall that this remote also needs at least one capacitor and maybe a resistor to be soldered in also. Look around the U2 spot and see if there are any other vacant spots, probably labelled with a C or R number.
