URC8811 remote and Denon 3802 receiver

Hi all:

I am just a starter and built the ultra JP1 interface two days ago. I am able to get the URC8811 to learn function from the Denon remote.

On this new remote, the device setup code for Denon is 1160 or 1104. I understand 8811 would not accept any advanced codes for Denon. So I want to create the upgrade code.

On the IR software, there are two Device numbers for Denon protocol, either 2 or 12.

I can get either one of them working as upgrade code but not able to get both working.

I have tried to set up two device setup code for Denon (0160 and 0004) on each device number, but only function worked under 0160

Question: what do you do if you have two device numbers on the same protocol? Please help

There are a number of Denon upgrade files here that use the Denon combo protocol that allows the commands from both devices to be in one upgrade. Most Denon commands work across the board and there is an upgrade there for a 3803 and one from Rob with all Denon commands, either of those should get you started.
