ReplayTV remote weirdness

I have a panasonic showstopper that i use with a replaytv remote. Somehow, the channel guide and instant replay buttons switched. Also, sometimes the remote doesn't work. But waiting seems to bring it back.

I want to refresh the remote with a dump from a new remote. Where can I get a backup of the remote so that I can maybe fix this? I built the parallel jp1 interface and have ir.exe and remotemaster.

So I messed with it enough and got it to work. Used the good ol' trial and error and eventually made it work.

The got the Cg and IR buttons switched in the original remote image, so they used keymoves to fix it. This image with the keymoves was flashed into thousands of the original remotes. What you must have done is inadvertantly wiped out the keymoves (probably by doing a 980 reset), which caused the buttons to appear reversed. The simple, non JP1, fix for this is to do new keymoves.

The JP1 fix is to replace the outdated factory loaded image with a JP1 created image.
