What is 7-pin connector?

Probably wildly off-topic, but I just got a URC-200 remote, and in the battery compartment there is a 7-pin (yes, seven) pin connector. The pins look a bit shorter than some JP1 connectors I've seen.

So, I'm wondering, what the heck is this 7-pin connector? Is it in any way JP1 related, or can it be made to be?

I believe the URC-200 is a 'Universal Remote Control "Home Theater Master" remote. It's not a UEI remote. For a remote to have ANY chance of being JP1-able, it needs to be a UEI remote.
