I just made an RM upgrade from data I had merged from several CCF files on Kenwood DVDs

Kenwood DVD.rmdu

It matches DVD/0534 but has 78 funtions (DVD/0534 has only a small fraction of that).

The functions are merged from several different models and some functions might not work in some models. But probably some functions that weren't on the original remote for a given model will work in that model.

If you have a Kenwood DVD, you might want to experiment to see which of these functions work in your model. If you get any interesting results, please provide some feedback here.

I think that is a good idea in general. I will start doing that from my IR library as someone needs it. Yesterday, I created a generic RCA TV device upgrade for RM using the RCA combo protocol. It can do all the discrete inputs and I had a good collection of the HDTV commands too.

It really was easier doing the upgrade than explaining how. I was also very impressed with the auto assign feature. I know you have long been a proponent of RM (for good reason) but now that I can sort through creating a protocol.ini entry, it really is a very powerful addition.

Great product Greg, John, Nils, and all the others who have spent a lot of time on this!
