Info on Shinco DVD players?

HI,

I'm trying to help a friend with his Shinco DVD player.
His kids lost the remote, so I don't have the original to
learn from, and I haven't found anything searching
through the files section.

I'm not sure of the model number. It's an import
from the China market, and only has a 'Mivi Ok'
screened on the back panel. (iirc).

Any info to get started on a code search would
be appreciated? Or if you have created a device
upgrade, please let me know. Thanks.

Device upgrades for Apex AD-703 or GE1101P may work with your Shinco built DVD player. Both the Ad-703 and 1101P are built by Shinco and the remote signals are the same. The ad-703 remote controls the 1101P and vice-versa. There is an upgrade for the AD-703 in the files section of the Yahoo group.
