Help movement Channel Up-Down

Post by sergro »

Learning the codes Volume and Channels I have found this problem: in order to change channel Up-or Down I must before press an other key and then to press Up-or Down.
Making these passages I only succeed has to move the channels.(Zapping)
As I can resolve the problem

That is the usual symptom for a protocol which includes a toggle bit.

You can't get it to work better with learned signals.

If you find the right setup code, you can use KeyMoves to make it work. But I'm sure the CH keys would work even without KeyMoves if you find the right setup code.

All these problems can be avoided by using a JP1 cable and creating an upgrade.

Use IR.EXE and the JP1 cable to download from the remote.

The results of that download will include the learned signals.

Save the results to a file. Use the "save" command in the "file" menu in IR.EXE.

Post that file in the diagnosis folder in the Yahoo JP1 group, or you can email it to me.

You can use the learned signals tab of IR.EXE to decode the learned signals. That would give the information needed to build the upgrade you need. But you have trouble with English and you are new to IR.EXE, so it would be easier for me to do that part than to explain it.
