Please help with remote control for DM500HD

Hi guys,
While cluttering some few tech old things I found my old dream-multimedia box (dreambox), model DM500HD (the first version with high definition, genuine ), but I cannot find its remote control, so I ordered a new one which was supposed to work with DM800HD as well, but it doesn't work , or better to say it works in a strange mode, not responding to proper button pressing events.
I'm thinking now to flash it with a genuine DM500HD remote control firmware, but there is no file posted in the File Section for that model. There is file named " "Dreambox DM500 all models", but it looks that it is for older models and not high definition ones.
Can someone post in the file section the rmdu file for DM500HD, or if someone tested and had a success with any other rmdu file (other DremMultimedia box models) for DM500HD ?

I see that you're new here, so I don't know how much you know about what JP1 is and what we do here, so you might want to hit the Wiki and do some reading. We don't flash new firmware to OEM remotes, what we do is load upgrades into UEI universal remotes so that the UEI remote can control your device, and we do that using a JP1 cable. Having said that, some OEM Dreambox remotes are JP1 compatible, but you would still need a cable to program it.

Does that help point you in the right direction?

Thanks Robman for your message ! I have already ordered the usb-to-serial cable and using RMIR software I'm able to read and dump the eeprom/or flash from the remote control I bought. I thought the someone here can dump the eeprom/flash from their DM500HD remote control,post in the section file and I can download and can flash it into my remote control ( I have already run a backup of original firmware).

This sounds like one of those cases where you've settled on a low-level solution and are asking for help to complete it, rather than asking whether that is the right solution. Am I right in saying that you have a Dreambox remote that is JP1 compatible, you have a JP1 cable and can download from the remote, and you want to be able to make the remote control your Dreambox DM500HD? If so, for starters, please download the remote's memory using RMIR and post the file for us to look at. This will show us what upgrades are pre-loaded into this remote. Next, download the "Dreambox DM500 all models" file and try it, don't just assume that it won't work.
