Current Swisscom IP TV boxes - Codes

Post by jacobacci »

I have searched for an RMDU for the current Swisscom TV boxes (from IP1400 on), but all the entries I found were quite old.
I have uploaded an excel with the codes (copied from the original Swisscom documentation) here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=27240
I am looking for help to get these into an RMDU for a URC1240.
Thanks a lot

Might have saved you some time just to link to the document instead of creating an Excel file.

I have added two missing codes and a layout for URC 12x0 remotes. The updated RMDU file is here

What do the "Line nn, <clipboard>" entries in the Notes column mean?

As for the button layout, my only suggestions would be:
1. Program the POWER function to the POWER button.
2. Program Vol +/- to the Volume buttons (as you've programmed the MUTE button, RMIR will put something on the Volume +/- buttons anyway, so you might as well put the real thing there).
3. As there is no Stop function, program Pause to the Stop button.
4. Perhaps, the Prev CH function can go on the Live_TV button, once Power is moved off of it.

The 'clipboard' notes had come from Barf's RMDU, which he had based on the Swisscom commands PDF. I have now removed them.
Changes the keys as per your suggestions. My previous version reflected the way I wanted the RMDU (Vol empty, as Volume comes from Onkyo AVR via key move and Power Key contains a macro).
This version should now be good for general use.
