One For All URC-7935

Post by 1031982 »

I am aware this is a rather basic remote, however I have ran into a little issue. A friend lost their old URC7935, and got a replacement. However, the new one will not actually work on the Roku TV fully like the previous one.
I can't seem to get it to work without learning from the OEM remote, however it won't repeat the signal when holding the directional buttons.

Does anyone know what I can do to correct this? If I need to get a 6pin cable, I would appreciate anyone telling me which cable to get for this remote. I have played with Remote Master to get my remote setup for me, but it has a USB connector.

After the bad learns, factory reset the remote:

1. press and hold the TV POWER button and the Back button.
The Ring should blink yellow twice

2. Press Options, REPLAY and HOME consecutively, the ring should blink RED 4 times

To program the Roku tv:

1. Hold down the STB POWER and HOME buttons until it blinks RED twice
2. press BACK <- <- <- <- <- five times, ring should blink green twice.
