Paramount+ Code for HiSense Roku TV

Paramount+ Code for HiSense Roku TV
I just got a HiSense Roku TV 58R6E5 (apparently essentially the same as 58R6E3 except mine has Dolby Vision rather than HDR but anyway). I'm using the Roku TV Master File device upgrade for my XSight remote.
Everything works fine except that the Paramount+ code instead launches Prime Video (as also does the Prime Video code).
Also, another minor thing, which may be a TV issue rather than a remote issue - if I'm in an app, e.g., Max and I press a button for another app, the TV always prompts "Exit Max and launch [other app]?" - except when I click Netflix, it doesn't prompt for confirmation, it just launches Netflix. Not sure which behavior I prefer tbh, just curious about the difference.
Thanks!

On both my current [TCL] and previous [Hisense] Roku TVs, Netflix was the exception that way. (I just made it a shifted key on my universal so I would not launch it accidentally.)
For Amazon vs. Paramount+, verify
I have had weak batteries send the wrong code, too.

The Paramount+ entry reads:For Amazon vs. Paramount+, verifyIf it is correct, make sure that your TV has the latest Roku software version.

EFC5 =00124
EFC =124
OBC = 107
Hex = D6
New batteries
Forgot to ask also - is there a known code for Peacock?
In testing all of the other functions to see if they did what they're intended to, I did discover that if I try to directly launch an app that isn't actually installed, it locks up the TV on the background image requiring a power-off and disconnect of the power cord to remedy. So I won't do that anymore

I do not see Peacock listed on any of my Roku key sets, old or new.
No Tubi, either.
On both of my Rokus, if you pressed an app button that was not yet installed, you were asked if you wanted to install it. If the app was defunct, it went back to the Home/App screen.
The screen locking up is pointing to corrupted software, unless the latest version stinks or is no longer completely compatible with the TCL remote.
Did the Masked Man's recommendation above work for Paramount+?

This uses the Roku Official protocol with device codes 4.251, whereas all the other Roku Official setup codes use device codes 234.199MaskedMan wrote:There is a new dedicated Hisense/Sharp Roku tv code in newer remotes, it's TV 4740, the Paramount+ efc is 00118.
I just created an upgrade that replicates TV/4740 here:

Ed, if you have any other button codes that work with TV/4740, let me know and I'll add them to this upgrade.

Those OBCs look like they are the same as NEC1 dev 4. I have a complete set of those.

Here is an upgrade using Roku dev 4.251 and the same OBCs,...

PS: Your Paramount+ OBC (233) is mine (105) + 128, so it is likely a duplicate.

						Rob, I listed my finds from TV 4740 on page 9 of this thread:The Robman wrote:This uses the Roku Official protocol with device codes 4.251, whereas all the other Roku Official setup codes use device codes 234.199MaskedMan wrote:There is a new dedicated Hisense/Sharp Roku tv code in newer remotes, it's TV 4740, the Paramount+ efc is 00118.

Then you listed the OBC for them.

Is that in Roku dev 4.251 or Roku dev 234.199?chileboy wrote:Ok, using the codes from the referenced rmdu's now launches Fubo instead, except for the NEC1 dev 4 from SysTech Larry, which seems to do nothing on my TV.
Truly appreciate everyone's help, even it turns out to be fruitless!
(That is expected of the latter.)

Larry's Roku file has everything that was in mine, plus all of the codes from the old thread that Ed linked to, and more, so that's a pretty complete file.

This is with Hisense Roku TV (NEC1 dev 4).rmduSysTech_Larry wrote:Is that in Roku dev 4.251 or Roku dev 234.199?chileboy wrote:Ok, using the codes from the referenced rmdu's now launches Fubo instead, except for the NEC1 dev 4 from SysTech Larry, which seems to do nothing on my TV.

So:
Roku dev 234.199 launches Prime Video
Hisense Roku TV (NEC1 dev 4) does nothing
The others launch Fubo
Pretty sure I've got all of that straight!
Just want to check though that I'm doing this correctly. My configuration is using Roku dev 234.199 (the Roku TV Master File). What I've been doing is creating a new device, opening the other files and then copying the codes to my Roku TV 234.199 device. Is that the right way to do it? Because if I "open" one of the other .rmdu in my existing device, it seems to overwrite much of it, and other than Paramount+ it's all working. Plus the other files seem to be missing some of the other apps I need. Hope that makes sense.
