I just want to say that I am amazed at the years of support and dedication at work here!
I purchased a new, boxed ARRX18G on Ebay to replace my very old ARRX15G, as some of the buttons are getting a bit hard to fire the signal. And it's touch screen! Didn't even know there was a touch screen option all those years ago.
Looking forward to digging through all the upgrades. From what I have seen there seems to have been some later firmware updates to support home automation systems.
It sounds like I should perhaps expect a sticky rubber middle section, though my old ARRX15G didn't suffer from that. Maybe the hand oil. I have some Paradigm tower speakers that have that same rubber coating degradation and can fix it.
From what I understand, if I plug in the remote, run RMIR and download the new remote, RMIR will prompt me to upgrade the firmware?
Please move this post if I have cluttered up an inappropriate category.
Thanks again!
